{"id":347,"date":"2015-12-05T19:36:29","date_gmt":"2015-12-05T19:36:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/?p=347"},"modified":"2015-12-05T19:36:29","modified_gmt":"2015-12-05T19:36:29","slug":"2-more-nights-in-brunswick","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/?p=347","title":{"rendered":"2 more nights in Brunswick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday, 2 December<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, Christina stepped off the boat and helped push Dreamtime off the dock as\u00a0someone else was\u00a0aboard playing crew.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_0157.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-371 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_0157-300x253.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0157\" width=\"300\" height=\"253\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_0157-300x253.jpg 300w, http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_0157-1024x862.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Bob and our friend Ben took off for the 2.5 hour transit to Brunswick Landing Marina and Christina enjoyed a couple hours on land. \u00a0The trip by car from Hidden Harbor Marina to Brunswick Landing Marina takes literally 12 minutes, even with traffic lights, so Christina had time to enjoy a leisurely morning with\u00a0some shopping before making her way to the marina to meet the guys and the boat.<\/p>\n<p>Bob reported the trip was pretty uneventful but a dolphin sighting did occur, meaning\u00a0our record of daily dolphin sightings continues.<\/p>\n<p>We enjoyed an afternoon exploring Brunswick and St. Simon&#8217;s Island with Ben before saying good-bye until next time we pass through.<\/p>\n<p>We spent the next day doing boat chores. \u00a0We discovered an awesome Caribbean restaurant for dinner and were back on the boat for an\u00a0early evening.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow we again get to sleep in as we are planning the short transit across St. Simon&#8217;s Sound and through Jekyll Creek (another shoaling area) for high tide around noon to Jekyll Island Marina.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wednesday, 2 December For the first time, Christina stepped off the boat and helped push Dreamtime off the dock as\u00a0someone else was\u00a0aboard playing crew.
