We are still not getting tired of those dolphins.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1007 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030188-cropped-300x118.jpg\" alt=\"p1030188-cropped\" width=\"300\" height=\"118\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030188-cropped-300x118.jpg 300w, http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030188-cropped-768x302.jpg 768w, http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030188-cropped-1024x403.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Today is momentous as we passed by Cocoa Village Marina, last year&#8217;s\u00a0winter home, \u00a0because it means we are now\u00a0further south than we have been on the ICW (on Dreamtime).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1004 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030189-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"p1030189\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030189-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030189-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/dreamtime-sailing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/P1030189-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>We expected the wind to be on the nose, but were pleasantly surprised when the wind shifted to the west and we were able to unfurl the staysail to gain an extra knot of speed.<\/p>\n<p>As we navigated the shallow channel to Melbourne Harbour Marina our depth sounder showed uncomfortably low numbers.\u00a0 The numbers kept jumping all over the place ranging from 7 feet to 10 feet to 5 feet and more.\u00a0 The keel of the boat is 5 feet, and when the depth sounder shows 4.5 feet, which it did a few times, that means we should be hitting bottom. \u00a0 Guess we have a new chore on the to do list while in Ft.
